We had the pleasure of hosting artist Johanna Flores at Friday, our gallery and showroom space at 3260 Glenwood Road.

Johanna Flores is a contemporary ceramic sculptor based in Decatur, known for her abstract voluptuous sculptures that explore themes of creation, spirituality, and human existence. Her works have been exhibited at notable institutions such as the Museum of Ceramic Art in California and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia in Atlanta.

In Johanna’s words, “Venus Rising is an invitation for the viewer to explore their own stories of rebirth and moments when they were in the dark void only to come out stronger and renewed.”
